Zanetta Searcy

Zanetta Mae Searcy, 50, of Lexington, passed away November 5, 2022 in Lexington. She was born October 8, 1972 to the late Robert R. and Ophelia Anderson Searcy. She is survived by her fiancé, Wendell Hill. 

Zanetta graduated from Bryan Station High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. She was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church, where she joined at an early age. Zanetta enjoyed stitching and quilting. She was very kind, loving and loved animals, especially cats. Her pride and joy was her daughter, Diamond. 

Leaving to cherish her memory, her fiancé, Wendell Hill of Lexington; uncle, Kenneth T. Anderson of Lancaster and a host of cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be 1pm Friday, November 11, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Coulter officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Run Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm Friday, at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers are Wendell Hill, Trayvion Calloway, Wilbert Calloway, Raymond Murphy, Malone Anderson and Bob Johnson.
