William "Zeke" Woodard Obituary

William "Zeke" Woodard, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at his home. He was born on April 20, 1957 in Boyle County to the late William R. Woodard and Geneva Walton Woodard. Zeke was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Woodard.


Zeke worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of Gods Landmark Church in Garrard County.


Zeke is survived by a daughter, Ashley Woodard of Lincoln county; two brothers Donald Hughes (Lindsey) of Nicholasville and Jeff Woodard (Virginia Ann) of Lancaster; grandchildren, Courtney Farmer, Brandon Johnson and Riley Johnson.


Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Rodney Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home.


Pallbearers will be Wayne Prewitt, Terry Yates, Tommy Little, Charley Gilliam, David Day and Rick Baker.


Honorary Pallbearer will be, David Woodard, Mike Simpson, Robert Brown and Wyatt Boyd.
