Wanda Lee Snyder, 84, of Richmond, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Hospice Care Plus in Richmond, KY. She was born on August 12, 1941 in Madison County to the late Fred Gill and Hazel Foley Gill.

She is survived by two daughters, Audra Stenstrom (Rob) of Florida and Nicole Osborne of Richmond; one grandson, Brandon Osborne (McKenzie); one brother, Tommy Gill (Connie) of Lancaster; and two great-granddaughters, Everleigh Osborne and Brentleigh Osborne.

Wanda was a beautician for 62 years.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Richmond where she was a faithful Christian.   She loved spending time at her winter home in Okeechobee,  Fl.  There she attended Buckhead Ridge Baptist Church regularly.   She loved being around friends and family.     

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-three years, Burt Snyder and a brother, Eddie Dean Gill.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Berry and Pastor Bobby Green officiating. Burial will follow at Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Monday September 22, 2025 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Osborne, Butch Perkins, Charlie Neal Floyd, Charles Taylor, Kenny Brand and Nick Taylor. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Phyllis Cook, Betty Herald, Judy Brand, , Kathy Shanks, Pauletta Perkins, Judy Foley and Ann Dale Winkler.
