Virginia “Ginny” Clark, 96, of Lancaster, passed away March 13, 2025 at Baptist Health in Lexington. She was born October 2, 1928 in Madison County, Kentucky to the late Burnam and Ida Mae Rhodus. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Clark.
Ginny was a homemaker and a member of St. William Catholic Church in Lancaster. She was affectionately known as “Granny” and enjoyed tending to her African violet flowers, quilting and spending winters in Florida with her husband, Gilbert. Most of all, she was the ultimate caregiver and loved her family immensely.

Surviving is a daughter, Patricia Snyder (Ken) of Lexington; grandchildren, Troy Snyder (Kathy) of Lexington, Dana Snyder Giles of Lexington, and Jesse Clark (Courtney) of Berea; seven great-grandchildren, Lexy Clark, Chasity Clark, Reese Giles, Lila Clark, Kyndall Clark, Chase Snyder, and Emma Snyder.

Also preceding her in death was a son Randall Clark, grandson, Kristopher Clark, and siblings, Jessie Price Rhodus, Carl Rhodus, Earl Rhodus, Molly King, Agnes Purcell, and Christine Gilliam.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Lancaster Cemetery with Fr. John List officiating.

Pallbearers are Troy Snyder, Reese Giles, Dana Snyder Giles, Danny Purcell, and Roger Purcell.

Honorary pallbearers are great-grandchildren, Lexy Clark, Chasity Clark, Lila Clark, Kyndall Clark, Chase Snyder, and Emma Snyder.
