Benjamin Thomas Carey, 75, of  Lancaster, passed away September 23, 2021 in Danville, Kentucky. He was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to the late Omer and Bessie Brimm Carey. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Devine Carey.

Thomas was a farmer and loved playing bingo, drinking Pepsi and spending time with his grandkids.

Surviving are two children, Tom Carey and Teresa Wilkerson, both of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Brett Wilkerson and Baylea Reynolds and three bothers, Lewis Carey of Burgin, Robbie Carey of Burgin and Bud Carey of Harrodsburg.

He is also preceded in death by three siblings, Junior Carey, Gene Carey, and Hazel Robinson.

Funeral services 2pm Monday, September 27, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Shawnee Run Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12pm-2pm on Monday.
