Temperance VanWinkle

Temperance VanWinkle, 12, of Lancaster, passed away November 16, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 22, 2007 in Lexington, Kentucky to Pedro Rodrigues of Honduras and Tammy Sterner of Lancaster. 
 

She was a 6th grade student at Garrard Middle School and was loved by all that knew her. Temperance loved to sing, dance, and enjoyed making slime. She was everyone's little princess but was also a force to be reckoned with. She had a sweet spirit and will be deeply missed. 

She is survived by her parents, her maternal grandmother, Carolyn Himes of Lancaster, siblings, Timothy Sterner, Tangela VanWinkle, Lillian VanWinkle, Zethariah VanWinkle and Giovani Sayeed, aunts and uncles, Angela Johnson, Erin Johnson (Mike), Andrew Sisson (Trina), Ronnie Hollingsworth, Anthony Justus (Emily), Daniel Justus, Jr. (Crystal), Mike Pietosi (Tracy), Ron Pietosi (Teresa), great aunts and uncles, Dan Justus (Debra), Nancy Ross and Robert Ross and numerous cousins. 

Visitation will be from 2-5pm Friday, November 20, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home. A private family service will be on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
