Vickie "Sue" Frymyer, 60, of Somerset, passed away at Lake Cumberland Hospital on Friday, December 19, 2025. Sue was born on April 28, 1965 in Berea, Kentucky to the late Hiram and Mary Jones Boshers. 

Sue was a jack of all trades, from mechanics to painting, she gave her all in everything she did. She was so dependable and always thought of others before herself. Sue was a valuable member of the Spurlin Funeral Home Family for many years and was currently employed by O’Reilys. She loved bluegrass music and was an amazing cook. Most of all, she loved being a Mom to Stephanie and Jesse and being Ninny Sue to Bobby, Samson, Jesse and Roman. 

Surviving is a son, Jesse Durham (Laural) of Science Hill;  a daughter, Stephanie Frymyer (Adam) of Lexington; four sisters, Sharon Robinson of Lancaster, Kathy Stewart of Somerset, Carolyn Isaacs of Nancy, and Joyce Allen of Lancaster; grandchildren, Bobby Bell, Samson Taylor, Jesse Durham Jr. and Roman Durham; special nephews and nieces, Robert Stewart of Somerset, Amanda Vaughn of Somerset, Brianna Allen of Lancaster, TJ Allen of Lancaster, and many other numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Frymyer; brothers, Dewey, Norman, Larry, and Wayne Boshers; and a nephew, Billy Wayne Stewart.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, December 22, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral at Carpenter Cemetery in Jackson County, KY.

Pallbearers are Jesse Durham, Robert Stewart, TJ Allen, Blake Mason, Ian Kapustka, and Curtis Stephens.
