Obituary
Shirley Ann Boyd, 85, of Jessamine County, KY passed away Sunday July 23, 2023 at Baptist Health in Lexington. She was born on March 2, 1938 in Fayette County, KY to the late Mann and Lottie Kyle.
Shirley loved racehorses and owned Finish Line Racing Stables in Jessamine County. She was fond of visiting the beach and was a member of Palomar Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gayle Boyd.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Boyd of Lancaster and Donald Boyd of Jessamine County, a daughter in law, Kathy Werner of Lexington; a sister, Mary Sayre of Lexington; five grandchildren, Michael Boyd II of Pikeville, Dalton Boyd (Amy) of Lancaster, Wyatt Boyd of Lancaster, Austin Boyd (Rebecca) of Woodford County and Kody Boyd (Alyssa) of Lancaster; and ten great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
