Scott Beaty

Scott Beaty, 54, of Garrard County, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at St. Joseph East in Lexington, KY.  He was born on June 8, 1967 in Lexington, KY to Janet Duncan Dixon(John) and James Michael Beaty(Linda). 

Scott owned and operated Affordable Drywall for many years.

Scott was very passionate about drag racing and had a very tight knit family that he loved very much.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Also surviving is a daughter, Summer Beaty; two step-daughters, Amanda Noll and Heather Way; two sisters, Lorie Leech and Angel Hall(Jason); three step-sisters, Amber Dixon, Rachael, and Sissy; six grandchildren, William Scott, Winter, Kirstin, Natalya, Nevaeh, and Gabriel; a special nephew, Cody Reed; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Blue.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 6, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Hester officiating. 

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jason Hall, Austin Hall, Eli Hall, Casey Reed, Cody Reed, Matthew Roaden, and Shannon Manies.
