Roy Allen

Roy Allen, 84, of Lancaster, KY, passed away in Corydon, IN on October 2, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Wilburn Allen. He was born on December 14, 1937 in Rockcastle County, KY to the late John and Annie Drew Allen.

Roy was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed woodworking and making cabinets.

Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda Rose Wall( Scott) of Berea and Kathy Hendrickson (Lonnie) of Lancaster; a sister, Verna Lane of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Adam, Joshua, Makayla, Jennifer, and Jason; and many great grandchildren. 

Roy is also preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Frank Allen.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 7, 2022 at 3:30 pm at Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Tom King officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Spurlin Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Gary Maggard, Scott Wall, Dan Miller, Adam Rose, Josh Rose, Shane Dunnaway.
