Rita Smallwood, 70, of Lancaster, passed away at her home on Monday, April 7, 2025. She was born on September 22, 1954 in Garrard County to the late Bruce and Elizabeth Burkhart.
Rita is survived by a son, Michael Smallwood (Michelle) of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Steven Bruce Smallwood (Lindsey) and Elizabeth Marie Smallwood; one great-grandchildren, Connor James Smallwood; and former husband and friend, Ron Smallwood.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
