Ricky Lee Cain, 65, of Lancaster, left this world by way of natural causes on Sunday, December 25, 2022 in Pikeville, KY. Ricky was born on December 17, 1957 to Roy and the late Sadie Cain in Danville, KY.
Ricky worked hard throughout his lifetime to provide for his family. He worked as a route salesman and retired from Butternut Bread after many years. Ricky loved spending time with his family. He especially loved watching his daughters play basketball and spoiling his grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoyed dove hunting, boating on the lake, and grilling for his family. He was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church and was overjoyed that he had recently rededicated his life to God.
Along with his wife Mary, he is survived by: his children, Tessa Parsons (Josh), James Foster (Alex), Justin Foster (Alicia), Callie Pierce (Joe), and Ryan Marsee (Layne); his father, Roy; two siblings: Roxann Lamb (James) and Mark Cain (Barb); his grandchildren: Alden Woods, Brecken Woods, Kennedi Foster, Keegan Foster, Kypton Foster, Haisley Pierce, Jordan Marsee, Cainen Parsons, Collins Pierce, Josie Pierce, soon to arrive, Bennett Marsee; and a special aunt and uncle: Betty Jean and Robert Pass.
In addition to his mother, Sadie, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, and a nephew, John Benjamin Lamb.
Visitation for Ricky will be from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster, KY. Additional visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2022 before the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Ricky will be laid to rest in Lancaster Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers are Kevin Crutchfield, James Foster, Justin Foster, James Lamb, Layne Marsee, and Josh Parsons.
