Rev. Cecil Wells, Jr. 83, of Ohio, passed away on April 9, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 7, 1937 in Garrard County, Kentucky to the late Cecil Sr. and Anna Kinnard Wells. He is survived by his wife, Jatana Lynn Wilson Wells.

Cecil was a pastor for over 47 years as well as owner and operator of CJ Wells Concrete for many years.

Surviving is a son, Shon Christopher Wells of Ohio and Joi Lynette Cox of Louisville and grandchildren, Courtney Elizabeth Wells and Shon Christopher Wells II. 

Funeral services will be 1:30pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lanny Hazelwood officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-1:30 prior to the service. Burial will follow in Manse Cemetery in Paint Lick, Kentucky.
