Vola Raymond (June) Doolin, 91, a lifetime resident of Garrard County, passed away on November 7, 2021 at his son’s home in Lancaster.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Datha Doolin. June was a 30+ year member of the International Union of Operators and Engineers and a member of Lancaster Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Jimmy Ray Doolin, (Mona), grandchildren Jamie Ray Leach (PJ), Bryan Sharp (Kristy) and 3 great grandchildren, Addison Leach, Harper Leach, and  Kaden Sharp. 

Funeral services will be held at Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2pm with Rodney Montgomery officiating. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm on Friday. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Ballard, Ed Clark, Charlie Woolums, Joe Statom, Scott Sowders, and Roy Gibson.  Honorary pallbearers are Collis Ray, Darby Montgomery, Lance and Linda Byrd, George Jackson and Roy Noe.
