Phyllis Jean Honey, 69, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 in Lancaster, Kentucky at her home. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky to the late Ira and Emma Elizabeth Webb Honey.
She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Buckeye. She loved doing crafts, knitting, going to karaoke, and loved to cook for her family and friends.
She survived by her sons, Billy Ray Hendrickson (Bobbie) of Cincinnati, Charles Edward “Chucky” Hendrickson of Lancaster and Bobbie Jean Hendrickson of Nicholasville; brothers and sisters, Barbara Ann Honey Cowan of Nicholasville, Rosetta Honey Tuggle of Lancaster, Charles William “Will” Honey of Lancaster, Roma Marie Honey Stout of Paris, Kentucky and Elizabeth Ann Honey Sanders of Indianapolis, Indiana, Ira Honey, Jr. of Monticello, Cindy Jane Honey of Monticello and Vickie Ann Honey Jones of Indiana; grandchildren, Chantal, Tonisha, Jasmine, Michael, Madison, Amanda, Lydia, Emily, Natalie, Chloe, and Nick; and great grandchildren, Maliyah, Kyngsley, Luke, Tashaunacy, Travian, Tavarre, and Nolah.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Emma Webb Honey and grandparents, James Alfred and Stella Honey and Ally and Charlie Webb.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Irvin and Pastor Samuel Irvin officiating. Burial in Ottawa Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Carl Stevens, Cody Weaver, Doug Blair, Albert Halcomb, Russell Blackmer and Jason Wheeler.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Tuggle, Samantha Tuggle, Gavin and Austin Sullivan, and Everett Mitchell.
