Paul Lawson Obituary

Paul K. Lawson, 72, of Garrard County, passed away December 3, 2020 in Danville, Kentucky. He was born on May 25, 1948 to Minnie Lawson of Garrard County and the late Luther B. Lawson.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Brenda Lawson.

Paul was a veteran, who served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired after 20 years from US Holland and was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church.

Paul was an avid fisherman, loved riding his Harley and dearly loved his family.

Surviving is a son, Randy Lawson (Missy) of Lancaster, two grandchildren he adored, Tayler Messer (Jake) and Sydnee Lawson, both of Lancaster, great grandchild, Ayva Messer and two brothers, Ronnie and Gary Lawson, both of Lancaster.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luther B. Lawson and grandparents, Marshall and Hazel Whittaker and Irvey and Lucy Lawson.

Private family services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial with full military rites will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
