Paul Drew

Paul Drew, 85, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at VA Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on June 13, 1935 in Madison County to the late Grover Sr. and Beatrice Hale Drew. Paul is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary.

Paul served our country proudly in the US Army and was an electrician for many years. He was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church, where he was a deacon and taught Sunday school for over 40 years.

He is survived by a son, Tommy Drew (Elizabeth) of Richmond, KY; a brother, Grover Cleveland June Drew, Jr. (Mary Lou) of Lancaster, grandchildren, Ashley Dollins (Keith Price) and Laura Martin (Nate) and four great grandchildren.

Paul is preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Dollins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, October 23, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Willett officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time.

Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Eddie Sharp, Mike Sharp, Sonny Drew, Bob Townes, Tommy Drew, and Chris Fathergill.

Honorary pallbearers are the Fellowship Sunday School Class of Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
