Paul Courtney Abney, 53, of Danville, formerly of Lancaster, passed away February 21, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 6, 1967 in Winchester, Kentucky to Carl and Ann Rupard Abney of Georgetown. Paul is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna Abney.

Paul worked for Sylvania for over 20 years. He loved racing and building cars in Paul's Rod Shop. He was most proud of a 1987 Iroc black Camaro that he rebuilt to perfection.

He is also survived by a son, Bill Abney of Danville, two daughters, Lacey Robinson (Kyle) of London, Kentucky and Savannah Abney of Danville and a brother, Nick Abney (Angel) of Georgetown.

Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster. Visitation will be from 12pm-2pm on Saturday.
