Opal Bourne Obituary

Opal Lee Bourne, 87, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Landmark of Lancaster. She was born in Garrard County on December 12, 1936 to parents Adrian and Evelyn Wilson Saylor.

Opal is survived by son Mark Bourne of Lancaster; grandson Joseph Bourne of Danville; sisters, Joann Miller and Louise Barrett both of Lancaster; and a niece, Pamela Poynter of Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by husband Joseph Bourne; her parents; and grandaughter, Jennifer Bourne.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Spurlin Funeral Home from 12:00 until 2:00 pm.

Graveside services will follow at 2:30 pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating.
