Opal Reed Baker, 67, of Garrard County, passed away Wednesday March 25, 2020 at her home.She is survived by her loving husband, Robert. She was born on April 22, 1952 in Middlesboro KY, to Rose Gibson Reed and the late Brownlow Reed.
Opal was a homemaker and enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing and painting.
She was a faithful member of Level Green Christian Church.
Also surviving are four sons, Wallace Hatcher(Helen) of Wisconsin, Ben Egner(Melinda) of Perryville, Robert Baker Jr. of Irvin, and Patrick Baker(Jessica) of Berea; a daughter, Eugenia Pfeifer(Jeremy) of Lancaster; one brother, Wayne Reed(Tess) of Middlesboro; three sisters, Anna Partin(Jack) of Middlesboro, Helen Newhouse(Tom) of Tennessee, and Carolyn Barnett(David) of Tennessee; eighteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Marie Egner.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
