Natasha Lynn Ortiz

Natasha Lynn Ortiz, 37, of Florence, passed away at St. Elizabeth Florence on September 2, 2020. She was born on June 30, 1983 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Eamol “Abe” Shuler and Carlen Smith Langdon of Nicholasville. 

She was a nursing assistant for many years and was a medical tech. Natasha was an amazing cook, so caring, loved her family and friends, and had a laugh that would light up a room.

Surviving is her mother, Carlen; stepmother, Marilyn Shuler of Lancaster; three daughters, Sarah Marie, Lindsey Johanna and Elizabeth LeMay Ortiz; loving companion, James Snelling; two brothers, Leslie Scott “Scottie” Shuler of Nicholasville and James Bradley  “Jamie” Shuler (Natasha) of Ohio; special friend, Meagon Mackell; special sister, Lavonnia Bush (Greg) of Lancaster; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Eamol “Abe” and stepfather, Danny Langdon. 

Funeral services will be 1pm Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeremy Gilliam officiating. Visitation will be from 11am Tuesday until service time. Burial will be in Laughlin-Bush Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Jessie Dennis, David “Daa Daa” Dennis, James “Jamie” Shuler, John Kunaschk, Scottie Shuler and Boyd Houp. 

Honorary pallbearer will be Greg Bush.
