Molly Jo Ann Molen, 90, of Lancaster, passed away very peacefully at her home on February 2, 2024 in Lancaster. She was born on April 9, 1933 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Lucies and Mary Seay Butler. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Molen.

Jo Ann was a caregiver for lots of people in Garrard County for many years. She loved helping people.

Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Daly (Jeff), and Priscilla Flynn  both of Lancaster; one step-daughter, Debbie Murphy of Lancaster; grandchildren, Jamie Daly, Jameson Bo Flynn, Chad Bacon, Craig Bacon, Carey Bacon, and Casey Bacon; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, Wyatt Teague.

She is preceded in death by a son, Charles Bacon, Jr., grandchildren, Jill Daly and Chuck Gordon and a sister, Betty Longino. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30 am -1:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Daly, Jameson Flynn, Logan Teague, and Craig Bacon.
