Mathel A. Cooper

Mathel A. Cooper, 85, of Lancaster, passed away December 4, 2022 in Danville, Kentucky. She was born in Casey County, Kentucky to the late Beecher and Sally Ann Wiles Dick. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Doyle Cooper.

She was a homemaker and a member of Lancaster United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Roger Lee Cooper (Sue) of Indiana and Bryon Cooper of Lexington; grandchildren, Ryan Neil Cooper, Tiffany Raye Cooper and Jacob Scott Cooper (Allison); a great grandchild, Blaine Cooper and extended family in Science Hill, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be 12 Noon Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joshua Wiggs officiating. Burial in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the funeral home.
