Mary (Frances) Coulter Keith, 97, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at her home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence Anderson Keith Sr.
Frances was born on September 21,1927 in Garrard County, KY to the late Hayden and Elizabeth Duncan Coulter.
She was a former member of Bryantsville Methodist Church and Roberts Chapel Methodist Church.
Frances was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers, fishing, an avid quilter for many years, and was an avid reader and supporter of Andrew and the Garrard County Bookmobile.
Surviving are two sons, Darrell Lynn Keith (Deanna) of Lancaster, KY and Clarence "Sonny" Keith (Linda) of Owensboro, KY; two daughters, Beverly Ann Keith Oliver (Burgess) of Brentwood TN, and Margaret "Beth" Elizabeth Keith Finney of Lexington, KY; a brother, Bobby Coulter of Mercer County, KY; nine grandchildren, Burgess "Butch" G. Oliver II, Brandon K. Oliver, Brian S. Oliver, Darrell L. Keith II, Devin L. Payne, Frances Kathryn Johns, Jonathan Andrew Keith, Michelle N. Finney, Michael C. "Chaz" Finney II. Also surviving are 21 great grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Henry Coulter, Donnie Joe Coulter, Jesse William Coulter.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Darren Gillespie officiating.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville, KY
Active pallbearers are Butch Oliver, Brandon Oliver, Brian Oliver, Chaz Finney, Darrell Keith, and Trey Oliver.
Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Oberman, Dan Gonzales, Dusty Keith, Andy Keith, Sonny Keith, and Amos Bell.
