Mary Patten

Mary Patten, 73, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 30, 1946 in Hollis, Oklahoma to the late Jim and Helen Gardner. Mary is survived by her husband, Malcolm Patten.

She was an RN for over 30 years, which was truly her passion. In later years, she did medical coding and reviewed medical charts. She was a huge animal lover and an exceptional artist, that loved arts and crafts. She was just a truly caring, selfless person, who will be deeply missed. 

Along with her husband Malcolm, surviving is a son, Joseph James Waters (Michelle) and a daughter, Nannette Nicole Trudo (Robert, Jr.), both of Texas; two fur children and fur grandchildren, Maggie and Meredith. 

Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, January 6, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Graves officiating. Burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 6-8PM.
