Marvin V. Melton Jr.

Marvin V. Melton, 57, passed away, October 29, 2018 at U.K. Healthcare in Lexington, KY. Marvin was born on November 18, 1960 in Perry County to Ruth Warmoth of Lancaster and the late Marvin Melton, Sr. 

He was a farmer and a member of the Dix River Church of Christ.

Along with his mother Ruth, he is survived by brothers, JR Melton and Arnold Melton, both of Jackson County; sisters, Jackie Harrison (Leonard), of Lancaster, June Prater of Lancaster, and Deborah Melton of Jackson County; nephews, Matthew Harrison,and Leonard Harrison (Versi), and a niece, Ceara Prater.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Wayne Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.

Visitation is from 11:00 AM until time of service. 

Pallbearers will be Ricky Boggs, Billy Boggs, Leonard Harrison, Matt Harrison, Michael Hopkins and Billy Dailey.
