Lucille Johnson Begley, 95, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully June 18, 2021 at her home. She was born in February 12, 1926 in Harlan County to the late McKinley and Virgie Johnson.

Lucille loved her flowers and working in her yard. Her first love was quilting and sewing, which she enjoyed until 94 years old. She loved her family and above all God. 

She is survived by two daughters, Lorene Wulf (Dennis) of St. Louis, Missouri and Mildred Begley Napier of Lancaster; six grandchildren, Darryl Napier (Julia) of Casey County, Pam Wade of Lancaster, Gary Wulf of St. Louis, John Wulf of St. Louis, Melissa Mullins of Nicholasville and Jason Begley (Christina) of Harlan County; eleven great grandchildren, Candace, Amber, TJ, Perry, Emma, Tom, Matt, Clara, Rebecca, Ethan and Sarah Beth and three great grandchildren, Tre, Quorra and Elliott.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Velma and a son and daughter in law, James Perry and Kay Begley.

Funeral services will be 2pm Monday, June 21, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Amber Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am to 2pm on Monday.
