Loyce Edward Edgington

Loyce Edward Edgington, 89, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Landmark of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lila. Loyce was born on September 18, 1931 in Garrard County to the late George and Thelma Humphrey Edgington.

Loyce served our country in the United States Army and was a lifelong farmer.

Loyce was a member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews. Along with his wife and parents, Loyce was preceded in death by a son, John Edward Edgington; two brothers, Herbert and Charles Edgington; and a sister, Hazel Canter.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday September 29. 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating.

Burial will be at 2:30pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ricky Edgington, Steve Tracy, Hubert Edgington, Charlie Edgington, Gareth Lane, and Freddie Edgington.
