Logan Coulter

Logan “Sonny” Coulter, 75, of Garrard County, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at his home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hazel Coulter. Sonny was born in Garrard County on September 6, 1944 to the late Logan Walker and Marie Lay Coulter.

Sonny worked in carpentry and construction for many years.   

Sonny is survived by one son, Logan William Coulter of Garrard County; three daughters, Gina Preston of Garrard County, Mona Janssen of Garrard County and Becky Stinnett (Louis) of Garrard County; one brother, David Coulter ( Carolyn) of Somerset; three sisters, Marjorie “Tootise” Hasty (Ron), Pat Goens (Ron) and Mary Jane Ballard (Larry) all of Garrard County; eight grandchildren, Mark Preston, Kevin Preston, Britny Hall, Michael Thompson, Tessa Osborne, Keeley Stinnett, William Coulter and Jeremiah Blanton; seven great grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Hazel, Sonny was preceded in death by a great grandson, Dylen Preston; two sisters Phyllis Meade and Margaret Coulter.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster with Larry Ballard officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
