Lisa Ann Yates

Lisa Ann Yates, 57, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday September 23, 2021 at her home. She was born on April 24, 1964 in Lancaster to parents Larry Yates of Lancaster and the late Brenda Joyce Woods Yates.

Lisa was a bus driver for the Garrard County School System for 15 years and was a EMT for Rural Metro in Lexington, KY. She was a member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.

Also surviving is a son, Seth Banta (Trinna) of Lancaster; a sister, Tammy Yates and (Marlin Clarkson) of Waynesburg; a brother, Anthony Musgrove Yates of McQuerry County; two grandchildren, Kinley and Khloe Banta; three nephews, Chad Sharp, Lucian Musgrove Yates, and Kyle Musgrove Yates; two nieces, Sheena Privett Musgrove Yates (Jonathan) and Holly Musgrove Yates; and a great nephew, Ty Sharp.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Dwayne Dasher and Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tony Musgrove Yates, Jeremy Woods, Les Vanderpool, Chad Sharp, Lucian Musgrove Yates, and Kyle Musgrove Yates.
 

Honorary pallbearers are Ty Sharp, Joe Woods, and Anthony Woods.
