Linda Abee

Linda Abee, 66, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 5, 1953 in Madison County to the late Jess Willard and Dorothy Gill Abee.

Linda loved her family and friends and being in church. She enjoyed making jewelry out of beads and coloring pictures for people. She loved listening to music and joking around. But most of all, she Loved the Lord and was always saying “I thank God for it”. 

Surviving is a brother, David Abee (Vanessa) of Paint Lick and many nieces and nephews. 

Preceding her in death are her parents, Jess Willard and Dorothy Gill Abee and siblings, Steve Abee, James Earl Abee, Juanita Talley, Joetta Shelton and Joyce Abee.

Funeral services 1PM Monday, July 27, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Saylor and Ricky Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Jordan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-6PM on Sunday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Ray McCollum, Bradley Abee,Frankie Hall, Jimmy Hall, Mark Talley, Earl Abee, Nick McCollum and Jonah Ayres.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Gill, Jesse Abee and Tommy Abee.
