Leon Collins Obituary
Leon Collins, 75, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Collins. Leon was born on August 5, 1945 in Pikeville.
Leon worked as a coal miner for most of his life and was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan.
Along with his wife, Leon, is survived by one daughter, Jamie Hart (Matthew) of Danville; three sons, Steve Collins (Rhonda) of Tazewell, TN., Chad Seals of Stanford and Josh Stephens (Elizabeth) of Stanford; eight grandchildren, Hayden Hart, Nathan Stephens, Natalie Stephens, Stephen Collins, Jonah Collins, Huston Collins, Kieran Hart and Kadence Hart.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Hart, Nathan Stephens, Austin Lones and Josh Stephens.
