Lawrence H. Land

Lawrence H. Land, 82, of Lancaster, passed away at his home on March 20, 2025. He was born on July 26, 1942 in Jessamine County, KY to the late James and Celia Hobbs Land. Lawrence was a truck driver and lifelong farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Surviving is his loving wife, Joyce Mink Land; two sons, Michael Land of Richmond, KY and Jeffrey Land (Amanda) of Lancaster, KY;  a daughter, Anita Holland (Brian) of Lawrenceburg, KY; one brother, Ray Land (Libby) of Richmond; four sisters, Brenda Dunnaway (Virgil) of Lexington, Judy Reynolds of Nicholasville, Debra Hunt of Nicholasville, and Betsy Bain (Lee) of Nicholasville; four grandchildren, Heather Husted, Eric Holland, Katherine Land, and Dustin Land; five great grandchildren, Holly, Paige, Mason, Mavis, and Sadie. 

Lawrence, along with his parents, was preceded in death by four brothers, William Land, James Land, Bobby Land, and Ronnie Land; and a sister, Evelyn Tudor. 

A memorial gathering will be held at Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
