Kristie Denae Ray

Kristie Ray, 55, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away on May 25, 2026. She was born on August 22, 1970, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Beverly Walker Travillian.

Kristie devoted much of her life to caring for others through her work as a nursing assistant, where her compassion and kindness touched many lives. She had a deep love for Jesus, adored cats, and found her greatest joy in being a Nana to her beloved grandchildren, Rylan and Rodman.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Luke Richardson; her grandchildren, Rylan Gast and Rodman Tolliver; and her siblings, David Wayne Travillian, Wanda Emerson, Johnney Travillian, and Jennifer Travillian, along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Travillian; her daughter, Tabitha Jane Francis; and her brother, Gardner Travillian.

Kristie will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, her unwavering faith, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her memory will live on in the many lives she touched and in the family she cherished so deeply.

Funeral services will be 2pm Monday, June 1, 2026 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12pm until service time. 

Pallbearers will be Christopher Richardson, Garrett Bryant, Rylan Gast, Barry Ray, Steven Shearer, and Gary Shearer. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodman Tolliver and Lisa Lear.
