Julian “Bear” Wrenn, 63, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on August 19, 1957 in Boyle County to the late William H. and Grace Wilkerson Wrenn. Bear is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Tammy Davis Wrenn.
Julian was a lifelong farmer and well loved man of God. God was always first, family, then fishing.
Along with his wife Tammy, surviving are his sons, Chris Wrenn (Cyndi) of Danville, Timmy Morris (Courtney) of Lancaster and Josh Owens (Amber) of Danville, daughters, Kim Wrenn of Lancaster and Andrea Tipton (Chad) of Somerset, sisters, Darlene Daniels (Lewis) of Frankfort, Marilyn Hensley of Frankfort, and Donna Lamb (Jimmy) of Lancaster, brothers, James Earl Wrenn (Nancy) of Stanford and Morris Wrenn of Frankfort, fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert and Bill Wrenn.
Funeral services will be 1pm Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Chapman, Ray Zdrojowy and Rev. Paul Brasseaux officiating. Burial will follow at Wrenn Family Cemetery in Lincoln County. Visitation will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home and Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 10am-1pm.
Pallbearers will be Chris Wrenn, Timmy Morris, Roger Henderson, Matt Ray, Jimmy Lamb, Jacob Johnson, Trevor Johnson, and Noah Hullett.
Honorary pallbearer will be George Moberly.
