Joshua Andrew Simpson, 29, of Garrard County, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at UK Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born on December 28, 1992 in San Diego, California to William L. and Lula Brewer Simpson. 

Joshua was a member of Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church in Berea.

Along with his parents, Joshua is survived by three brothers, Justin Simpson, Luis Trejo-Simpson (Hope) and Matthew Grimes; three sisters, Samantha Burgess (Chris), Selena Trejo-Simpson and Alice Grimes; Grandparent, Paul Cooper (Sharon); a special aunt, Frances Miller, a sister at heart, Arionna Villasuerte (Abel) and two special friends, Chuck and Rhonda Elam.

The family sends a special thank you to Drs. Michael Geile and Douglas Schneider for their many years of compassionate care.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church in Berea with Pastor Chuck Elam and Pastor Richard Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Jordan Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church in Berea.

Pallbearers will be Luis-Trejo Simpson, Chris Burgess, Jack Rector, Michael Alexander, Mark Adams and Brandon Burnside.
