Johnny Grubbs Obituary

Johnny Grubbs, 70, of Garrard County, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

He was born on November 18, 1955 in Shelbyville, KY.

Johnny was a lifelong farmer and worked for Garrard County Stockyards and Bluegrass Stockyard south in Stanford. Johnny was a member of Scott’s Fork Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Margaret Grubbs.

Surviving is his loving wife, Kimberly Grubbs of Garrard County; a son, Michael Rauenzahn (Sarah) of North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Gabriel Rauenzahn, Charles Martin, and Myree Martin.

A private burial will be held.
