John Dudderar Obituary


John Dudderar, 67, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 10, 1955 to the late Julian and Elizabeth Dudderar.


He is surviving by his loving wife of 48 years, Charlene.


John worked for Matthews for 44 years and was a member of Lancaster Methodist Church. He loved hunting, fishing, football and woodworking.


In addition to his wife, John is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Stacey (Martin) of Richmond and Dana Denney (Frank) of Lancaster; two sisters, Cora Lee Floyd (Ron), and Betty Jo Jackson (Ken) and three grandchildren Melinda Denney, Jonathan Denney, and Christian Denney; and many nieces and nephews.


Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Dudderar and a sister Linda Layton.


Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 20, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Coppings officiating. 


Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time.


Burial will follow at Lancaster Cemetery. 


Pallbearers are Frank Denney, Martin Stacey, Jonathan Denney, David Williams, Christian Denney, and Jason Hall.
