Obituary

John Arthur King, 86, of Garrard County, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

John was born on March 22, 1937 in Covington, KY to the late Arthur and Luella King.

John served for our country in the United States Army as a captain.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church.

Surviving is a son, John Allan King of Lancaster.

Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Hicks.

A graveside service will be 1:30 PM Monday, September 18, 2023 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY with full military honors.
