Joe Edward Warren

Joe Edward Warren of Lancaster, KY was called to his eternal rest on Friday October 9, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. He was the son of James F. Warren and the late Vernie Mae Kavanaugh. 

He was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church in Buckeye.

Joe retired from Stuart Powell Ford and Mazda in Danville where he worked for 33 1/2 years.

He was prededed in death by his grandparents Ed & Ellen Warren that adopted and raised him from an early age; one brother, Charles Kavanaugh; one sister, Shirley Kavanaugh, and his maternal grandmother, Thelma Kavanaugh.

Joe is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Tina Warren; two daughters, Tiffany Simpson of Nicholasville and Domarika Buford of Indiana; three sons, Joseph Simpson of Danville, Dante Simpson of Harrodsburg, and Hunter Hancock of Danville; two stepchildren, Christina Joseph of Carolina and John Joseph of Florida; five siblings, Margaret Vandyke(Paul) of Danville, Russell Kavanaugh of Louisville, Stephon Warren (Denise), Lisa Warren(Michael) of Lancaster, and Althea Warren of Lancaster; fifteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 17, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Barry Bowman officiating.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time.

Burial will be in Duncantown Cemetery in Lancaster.

Pallbearers are Willie Clark, Robert Key, Antonio McPherson, Paul Massey, Quatisha Smith, and Lee Naylor.

Honorary pallbearers are employees of Stuart Powell Ford & Mazda.
