Jeffery Lynn Broaddus, 62, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at his home. Jeffery was born on November 27, 1961 in Lancaster, KY to the late Jeff "Buster" and Helen Goins Broaddus. 

Jeffery was in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and metal detecting.

He was a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church. 

Surviving is a son, William Cody Broaddus (Kelsey) of Richmond; a daughter, Amber Carman (Andrew Moore) of Lancaster; a brother, Ralph Broaddus (Johnetta) of Lancaster; a sister, Helen Bailey of Lancaster; two grandsons, Garrett Lee Carman and Jacob Memphis Carman; and several nieces and a nephew. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Stone, Ellen Thompson, and a brother, Bobby Broaddus.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Spurlin Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY.

Pallbearers are Jordan Logan, Josh Gilliam, Stephen Vest, Doug Ray, Frankie Hurt, and Simon Norris.
