Janet Smith, 50, of Garrard County, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at her home. She was born April 19, 1973  in Madison County to Ronnie and Christine Moberly of Lancaster. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Tommy Smith.

Janet was an accounting clerk and of the Christian faith. She was the most loving and caring person, who dearly loved her family.

Along with her parents and husband, surviving is a daughter, Christina Mae Smith of Stanford and one special grandchild, Hadlee Grace.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster. Visitation hours will be be from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Scott Barnes, Bradley Barnes, Roger Walton, Gary Carpenter, Ben Gaffney, Kevin Ellis, Brian Swinney and Billy Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cindy Lane, Wanda Shelton, Kathy Joe McAllister, Paige Daughtery, Lauren Kirby, Carrie Deaton, and Teresa Waters.
