James (Jim) Robert Jenkins, 66, of Lancaster, KY passed away on December 26, 2024, after a lengthy battle with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Jim was born on June 24th to parents, Ralph and Lillian Jenkins in Pekin, IL. Jim moved to Lancaster, KY in 2007 and joined the family-owned home improvement company, Canoe Creek Creations, where he worked until retiring in 2020.

Jim is survived by his wife, Debra Jenkins; his parents, Ralph and Lillian Jenkins of Lancaster, KY; daughters Jessica (Jake) Mills of Pekin, IL, Lyndsey Jenkins, AZ; stepdaughter Victoria Hogan, MA; son-in-law Hayden Twomey, CA and step-son Joshua Reid, UT.  Jim also has two brothers, Richard (Teresa) and Michael (Kim) Jenkins of Lancaster, KY and sister, Susan (David) Hine of Chicago, IL.

Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster. Visitation will be Saturday from 11am until service time.
