James Albert Wilson “Jamie” age 51, of Lancaster, Kentucky passed away on Thursday July 28, 2022 at his home. Jamie is the son of Evelyn Bolin of Lancaster. Jamie was born on September 20, 1970 in Lexington, KY.

He enjoyed hanging out with his friends at the Garrard County Courthouse and Smith’s Restaurant. He was a collector of knives and loved country music, his favorite singers were Hank Williams Jr. and Willie Nelson. He loved to cut up with everyone he met and would always try to crack a joke. Jamie enjoyed riding his bike around town and was known to hitch a ride. He was such a kindhearted and giving person, even when he didn’t have much to give.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Bolin; sisters, Melissa Wilson and Debbie Wilson all of Lancaster; special friends, Ronald “R.G.” Wardrip, Twyla Thomas, Kaitlyn Poynter Phillips, Debbie Nunemaker, Garrard County Circuit Clerks Office, and the Garrard County Sheriffs Office.

Jamie was preceded in death by his brother, Jody Wilson of Somerset and sister, Lisa Dunn of Lancaster.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday August 14, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel. 

Visitation will be 2:00 PM until service time.
