James Adam McIntosh Sr., 80, of Stanford, passed away December 29, 2023 at his home. James was born on February 9, 1943 in Yerkes, KY to the late Adam and Bertha Wooten McIntosh
James was a veteran of the United States Army, he worked at Dixie Cup and retired from Link Belt after many years. James was a Baptist Minister for almost 30 years. James loved hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He was a member of Gilbert's Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving is his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia Banks McIntosh of Stanford, KY; a son, James Adam McIntosh, Jr.(Vanessa) of London, KY; a daughter, Sheila McIntosh Cooke (Dennis) of Lancaster, KY; a brother, Jerry McIntosh (Shirley) of Florida; a sister, Alene Stewart of Winchester, KY; five grandchildren, James Cody McIntosh, Ryan Ford, Courtney Michelle McIntosh, Dakota Hollon and Karina Shepherd; five great grandchilden, Brantley, Keigen, Salem, Jaxon, Johnathan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Rose Pittman.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM-12:00 PM on Saturday, Janaury 6, 2024 at Gilberts Creek Baptist Church.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
