James Humber

James Humber, 95, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. 

James was born on March 25, 1927 in Garrard County, KY to the late James Sr. and Mary Penman Humber. 

Surviving are two sons, James Humber Jr.(Cynthia) of Richmond and Arthur Humber(Kelley) of Versailles; two daughters, Mary Humber of Garrard County, and Michelle Humber of Colorado; seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, seventeen nieces and nephews, and forty-four great nieces and nephews.

James along with his parents was preceded in death by two sons, Eric and Danny Lee Humber; two daughters, Stella Mae Reed, and Patricia Humber; and siblings, Ella Penman, Peach Penman, Oscar Penman, Kathleen Penman, Beet Penman, Mary Pearl Humber, Geneva Humber, Rebecca Humber, Benjamin Humber.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time.

Burial will be in Duncantown Cemetery in Lancaster.
