Jacqueline Whitis Obituary

Jacqueline “Jackie” Lee Whitis, 55, of Berea, passed away February 15, 2022 in Lexington. She was born on May 6, 1966 to the late Robert and Lucille Delaney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denton Whitis.

She was a farmer, loved yard sales and going to flea markets. Jackie loved to live life to the fullest.

Surviving is her siblings, Elizabeth Simpson (Buck Flannery) of Lancaster, Daniel Delaney (Pat) of Berea, and Lettie Sexton (Dan) of London; stepsons, Gary Whitis (Donna) of Berea and Ray Whitis (Alice) of Somerset; grandchildren, Jamie Herring of Lancaster, Leslie Herring of Berea, Cody Herring of Berea, Tyler Whitis of Danville and Tiffany Whitis of Somerset, a special nephew, Larry “Pepsi” Delaney of Lancaster and great grandchildren, Kandice Lynch, Stoney Herring, Memphis Herring and River Herring.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
