Henry Lewis Huffman, 77, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the home of his beloved son, James Lewis Huffman.
He was born on June 23, 1944 in Lancaster, Kentucky to the late Henry Lee and Jeanette Huffman.
Henry joined St. Paul Predestinarian Baptist Church in Lancaster at the age of 24, on December 12, 1968.
Henry was united in marriage to Ophelia Ruth Warren, and to this union was born three children whom he leaves to cherish his memory; son, James Lewis (Lynda) Huffman, and two daughters, Kimsue (Darryl) Chambers and Tonya (Ed) Huffman.
Later in life Henry married Charlotte Conn, whose three children, Craig Conn, Leanne Owens, and Tara (Robert) Masters became additions to his family.
He worked at Sargent and Greenleaf and went on to become a police officer for Lancaster Police Department. Later, he worked and retired from Matsushita Home Appliance Company.
Henry enjoyed spending his time watching University of Kentucky basketball, western movies, visiting family and friends. And made sure he was dressed to impress while doing so!
In addition to his children, Henry is survived by four sisters; Mary (Joseph) Byrd, Patsy Anderson, Bernice Huffman and Thelma May Glover; two brothers, Jamie Black and Johnny (Debbie) Huffman, and close friend who was like a brother, Michael Warren; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by siblings Linda Sue Huffman, Vonda Johnson, and William Anderson.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Burial in Duncantown Cemetery, Lancaster.
