Hazel Lee Gill, 95, of Lancaster, passed away February 4, 2020 in Richmond, Kentucky. She was born on August 5, 1924 in Madison County to the late Oscar and Anna Mae Ross Foley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Gill.
Hazel was a homemaker, a CNA at Pattie A Clay Hospital, and a hairdresser.
She was a longtime member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving is a son, Tommy Gill (Connie) of Lancaster; a daughter, Wanda Snyder (Burt) of Richmond, Kentucky; a sister, Grace Simpson (Bobby) of Florida; brothers, FC Foley (Alleta) and Manford Foley (Kathleen), both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Audra Stenstrom, Nicole Osborne and Virginia Woods; great-grandchildren, Brandon Osborne, Tom Robinson and Brad Hisle; great-great grandchildren, Ella and Levi Robinson, and her angel friend, Kathy Shanks of Richmond, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Eddie Dean Gill, sister, Augustine Hall, and brothers, Bill, Edward and Pete Foley.
Funeral services 1PM Friday, February 7, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are David Foley, Greg Foley, Brad Hisle, Tom Robinson, Brandon Osborne and Rusty Foley.
Honorary pallbearers are Butch Perkins, Teresa Hall, Judy Foley, Frankie Hall and Eddie Foley.
