Harold was one of the most multi-talented persons that many of us will ever meet. He was an entrepreneur of many trades. After his marriage to Arbor Della Lee, they moved to Mount Healthy, Ohio where he pursued an education in electronics. They then moved back to Lancaster where he started a Radio and TV repair service in 1955. Della was the only secretary that he ever hired. They were a team for 30 years. After closing the shop he then built Lancaster's first storage buildings, which he maintained and continued to manage at the age of 90. He worked part-time at Spurlin Funeral Home, where he enjoyed staying in touch with friends and family that were coming to say goodbye to loved ones. Harold was a longtime, faithful member of Lancaster Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 3pm Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Cooke officiating. Burial in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-3 pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
